College & Career Ready Student Scholarship

The Pima JTED Foundation’s College & Career Ready Scholarship winners will receive up to $3,000. All funds will be directly deposited to the student’s account at the post-secondary college or university of their choice. Apply before April 19, 2019!

Rules of Participation for Pima JTED Foundation Scholarships

  1. Student must be a Senior to apply
    (Students who have finished a CTE JTED program earlier may submit an application during their Senior year)

  2. Student must be a concentrator in a Pima JTED (central or satellite program)

  3. Student must have a 3.0 GPA in their CTE program of concentration

  4. Student should demonstrate participation in a CTSO or another community or leadership role

  5. Special consideration may be given for a student’s financial need

  6. All entries must be submitted on or before the April 19, 2019 deadline

Student essays will be reviewed and scored based on:

  1. The strength of their message about their CTE or Pima JTED program

  2. Evidence of their accomplishment and growth as a student in that program

  3. Quality of the finished written piece. Note to students: be sure to proofread your essay or have a trusted friend read it. Check your spelling and grammar

Awards:

Scholarship funds will only be sent to a Bursar or Financial Aid/Scholarship office of the post-secondary institution selected by the scholarship awardee

Scholarship awards must be claimed and applied within 18 months of the award date, or they will be forfeited back to the JTED Foundation

  • High school seniors are to write an essay of no more than 500 words in length describing how and why this scholarship will help them continue on their career path.
