JTED Expands its Programs to Class of 2026 Graduates
You may be eligible for a JTED concurrent program at Pima Community College. In one year, you can earn industry certifications or complete college technical courses to earn a college certificate. This learning experience will increase your knowledge, skill set, and confidence in a Career Technical program.
This program will be offered at Pima Community College during the day. It is focused on building skills in the trades that are in high demand in Pima County. If you are interested in Construction, please reach out to counselors@pimajted.org to start the pre-enrollment process.
The deadline to pre-enroll is February 27, 2026.

Building & Construction Technologies
Designed with the high school graduate in mind, this one-year (two-semester) college program is focused on expanding on professionalism and worksite safety. Students will develop confidence in carpentry, blueprint reading, masonry & concrete, and principles of construction.
This program is ideal for students who want to pursue a career in construction and did not have the opportunity to take construction in high school.
Eligibility
- Year 1:
- High School Graduate from the class of 2026
- Complete PCC Assessments in reading, writing, and math
Other Requirements
- Students are required to attend an Information Session in the Spring semester. JTED will communicate with students and parents the days and times of the sessions.
- Students must complete JTED & PCC Onboarding requirements
- Apply to PCC
- Complete JTED enrollment
- Attend JTED & PCC New Student Orientation
- Upload and submit college forms (Verification of Lawful Presence, FERPA)
