Agriscience – Animal Systems

  • Possess the technical knowledge and skills associated with the animal production, animal health, animal anatomy, physiology, nutrition, processing, marketing, distribution, financing, small animal care and management
  • Embark on a career path beginning with Applied Biological Systems (in most cases this course counts as a Biology credit for graduation and college entrance), then move forward to Agriscience Business, and Animal Systems to gain the lab science standards to prepare for careers in large animals, small animals, wildlife animals, and research animals

  • Develop leadership, advanced employability, critical thinking, applied academic, and life management skills through participation in FFA, and have the opportunity to participate in internships and cooperative education experiences
