- Medical Records Technology is a combination of business, science, and information technology that will qualify you to work within the electronic medical record, as well as acquire, analyze, and protect digital and traditional medical information which is vital to providing quality patient care.
- Your CEHRS certification from the National Healthcareer Association will prepare you to work within a Medical Records department in diverse roles such as Medical Records Technologist or office assistant, and creates the opportunity to work into other positions, such as medical records coder, insurance biller, and informatics professional.
- Earn Pima Community College dual credit, which you can apply toward an Associate’s Degree in Health Information Technology.
