- Bring stage productions to life employing contemporary production techniques to convey the mood, place the action, and reveal characters and settings
- Collaborate with designers and practice theatrical construction techniques to construct and dress sets, employ safe rigging practices and stage safety protocols, and manage properties through the run of a show
- Select materials and create patterns for costumes, and use modern theatrical lighting and sound systems and controls, and conduct technical rehearsals and call the show, including lighting, sound, props, scene changes, actors, costuming, etc.
- Develop a technical theatre portfolio and resume, learn to use social networks to further your career, and enter the workforce with confidence using theatrical communication skills and a knowledge of theatre position hierarchy
