Attendance Hotline 209-2675
The Pima County JTED serves high school sophomores, juniors, seniors, and students who are in the process of earning a GED and are under 22 years of age. Due to changes in the law being made by the Arizona Legislature, we no longer serve students who have graduated high school or who have earned a GED. Eligible students must live within the boundaries of a Pima County JTED member school district, and may attend a public, private, charter, or home school.
Did you know? Arizona’s universities accept Career and Technical Education credit for admission.
The Board of Regents gave final approval to a policy change that will allow career and technical education credits to count for university admission. Students can now demonstrate either fine arts or CTE competency in applying for assured undergraduate admission.
Every Pima County JTED employee is committed to helping all of our students succeed. We encourage students and parents and guardians to read the Student Handbook, and all materials that our instructors provide in class. Students, parents, and members of the community are encouraged to contact any staff member if they have questions, concerns, or know of an issue that impedes student progress. The Pima County JTED #11 is committed to a policy of nondiscrimination in relation to race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, language of origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or marital status. Unless expressly superseded by controlling federal or state statutes, regulations or court decisions, this policy will prevail in all matters concerning staff members, students, the public, educational programs and services and individuals with whom the Joint Board does business.
