Request of Arguments For and Against the Issuance of Bonds by Pima JTED
REQUEST FOR ARGUMENTS FOR AND AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS BY THE DISTRICT TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE VOTERS OF PIMA COUNTY JOINT TECHNICAL EDUCATION DISTRICT NO. 11 OF PIMA COUNTY, ARIZONA, AT AN ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 3, 2026
Pursuant to a resolution adopted by the Governing Board of Pima County Joint Technical
Education District No. 11 of Pima County, Arizona (the “District”) on June 9, 2026 (the
“Resolution”), a special election in and for the District was ordered and called to be held on
November 3, 2026 (the “Election”). Notice of the Election will be given by mailing an
informational pamphlet. Such pamphlet is to include arguments for and against the authorization
of the issuance of bonds payable from a secondary, ad valorem property tax by the District to be
considered at the Election. The estimated average tax rate for the proposed bond authorization is
$0.14 per $100 of net assessed limited property value. (The text of the question to be considered
at the Election is included in the Resolution which is available by request to the undersigned at
Pima County Joint Technical Education District No. 11 of Pima County, Arizona, 2855 West
Master Pieces Drive, Tucson, Arizona 85741.) Any person in Pima County, Pinal County, or
Santa Cruz County who is interested in submitting an argument is hereby requested to file such
argument with the applicable County School Superintendent (Pima County School
Superintendent 200 North Stone Avenue, Tucson, Arizona 85701, Pinal County School
Superintendent at 75 North Bailey Street, Florence, Arizona 85132, or Santa Cruz County
School Superintendent at 21 East Court Street, Nogales, Arizona 85621) no later than 5:00 p.m.,
Arizona time, on August 7, 2026. Each argument filed shall contain the sworn statement of the
person submitting it. If the argument is submitted by an organization, it shall contain the sworn
statement of two executive officers of the organization. If the argument is submitted by a
political committee, it shall contain the sworn statement of the committee’s chairperson or
treasurer. If the argument is submitted by an individual and not on behalf of an organization, a
political committee or any other group, the person shall submit the argument with a sworn,
notarized statement. The names of persons and entities submitting written arguments shall be
included in the informational pamphlet. Persons signing the argument shall identify themselves
by giving their residence address and telephone number, which may not appear in the
informational pamphlet, except that the person’s city or town and state of residence shall appear
in the pamphlet. Any argument that is submitted and that does not comply with the foregoing
may not be included in the pamphlet.

SOLICITUD DE ARGUMENTOS A FAVOR Y EN CONTRA DE LA EMISIÓN DE BONOS POR EL DISTRITO A CONSIDERACIÓN DE LOS VOTANTES DEL DISTRITO CONJUNTO DE EDUCACIÓN TÉCNICA NÚM. 11 DE CONDADO DE PIMA, DEL CONDADO DE PIMA, ARIZONA, EN UNA ELECCIÓN QUE SE LLEVARÁ A CABO EL 3 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 2026
De conformidad con una resolución adoptada por el Consejo Directivo del Distrito Conjunto de
Educación Técnica Núm. 11 de Condado de Pima del Condado de Pima, Arizona (el “Distrito”)
el 9 de junio de 2026 (la “Resolución”), se ordenó y se convocó una elección especial en y para
el Distrito que se llevará a cabo el 3 de noviembre de 2026 (la “Elección”). El aviso de la
Elección se dará enviando un folleto informativo por correo. Dicho folleto incluirá argumentos a
favor y en contra de la autorización de la emisión de bonos pagaderos de un impuesto secundario
ad valorem a la propiedad por parte del Distrito para ser considerado en la Elección. Se calcula
que el promedio de la tasa de impuestos para la propuesta autorización de bonos es de $0.14 por
$100 de valor neto tasado limitado de propiedad. (El texto de la pregunta que se va a considerar

Las personas que firmen el argumento deberán identificarse dando la dirección de su domicilio y
número de teléfono, que no podrán aparecer en el folleto informativo, con excepción de la ciudad
o pueblo y el estado de residencia de la persona que aparecerán en el folleto. Cualquier
argumento que se presente y que no cumpla con lo anterior no podrá ser incluido en el folleto.
