Things to Consider about This Program
- Physical training and physical scenarios occur throughout program
- Students will learn firearm safety and will handle artificial guns
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional behavior is expected due to mature content of class
- Students will learn handcuffing/detaining skills and therefore students will have these skills performed on them as well
- This class meets two Saturdays per month in addition to the two 4 hour weekday classes
- There will be visits to Police and 911 training centers
- Pima Community College Dual Enrollment requires an additional 4 hours of reading/preparation per week outside of regular class time

Eligibility
Grades 10-12
Students must also complete the following:
- Pre-participation physical from healthcare provider (within the last year and updated annually)
- Comment start Accuplacer Reading Test (achieve at least 9th grade reading level)
